4Works, but not perfectNov 12, 2008

I've had a nice leather volleyball that lost nearly all of its pressure in about an hour. I believe the bladder had dried and possibly cracked a little. I bought this to see it would work. It worked! Instructions are basically to squirt the contents of the syringe into the ball, fill with air and play with it right away. The idea is that it will slosh the rubbery fluid around filling in any crevises that may be in there. My ball now holds air! The only downside is that there is a weight gain to the ball. Basically the weight of the fluid material being added to the ball. Being that it was a fairly light volleyball, it feels quite a bit heavier than before. It's still useable/playable and no longer worthless, just heavier.

I tried to fix a balance ball with this and it worked for about a day, slowing the leak, but not pluggin it completely.

I had several balls, 2 basked ball, 2 soccer ball, one all leather hand sewn. This even fixed the fine leaks in an old fasketball, and the needle valve leak in a soccer ball with a bladder, it seemed to work really well.

I was a bit skeptical about this product based on some of the other reviews. However, I used it on a leaky volleyball. Applied it according to directions and the ball has been in constant use ever since. What can I say? It works for me and it is reasonably priced. I'm a satisfied customer!

3Ball Doctor sort ofOct 17, 2011

I bought this hoping it would fix my NFL football my grandpa got me many years ago. I measured the length of the applicator and put half of the sealant in a rugby ball i bought back in 2003 and the other half in the NFL football. Needless to say it worked well for the Rugby ball but not for the NFL football. It holds air better than it used to but still leaks.
