1Horrible!Nov 17, 2009
By John M. Jamison
Penn claims this is their best ball for use on the indoor and outdoor court. I have been playing racquetball on and off for about ten years and have recently gotten back into the sport. These balls did not hold up to their claims whatsoever. In more than one instance the ball broke in half within three to four games. I play the sport hard, but by no means do I have the power that the professionals do. I found this product to be a sham. If you want a good ball that will liven up your game, and not break down, try the Ektelon Fireball. I do not recommend this product.

1Dead BallsDec 13, 2009
By B. Sheridan "racquetball lover"
These racquetballs are dead. I've played racquetball every week for 8 years. Red is suppose to be lively but not these, should have bought Ektelon instead. Don't waste your money.

3good in a pinchMar 23, 2012
By Dantes "Dantes"
They are fast, as the color would indicate, but they are also a little too soft for my liking. I prefer Ektelon, but for the price of the penn, they cant be beat. Not as durable as I would like, but as the title of the review implies, they're good in a pinch

2Penn ballistic (sub ballistic)Jul 25, 2011
By Jj Taylor
I was not too excited about them. A couple of them had kind of a dead bVery inconsistent bounce as well. Like the other reviewer said, Penn needs to improve their quality control. I'm going to give a diffent brand a try. Bought it couple of days ago and all three balls were broken! We play doubles and play hard but even the cheaper ones lasts longer!

5Great BallMay 17, 2011

I don't understand all the hate this ball is receiving from reviewers.

This is not supposed to be some sort of magic ball. This ball is simply a harder, faster ball to play with. That it certainly is. Our club players feel a significant difference in these balls as compared to most on the market. We have not had any durability problem with these balls, despite playing fairly hard. Keep in mind, any decent player should be playing with fairly new balls on a regular basis.

If you are constantly breaking balls, then the problem is that you are not buying enough new balls.

No complaints here. Great ball.
