Works a few times then becomes impossible to turnJan 08, 2010
By Rob Neff I bought four of these, two used in Seattle and two in St Louis. The balls seemed a bit more bouncy and so I was happy. A few months later, it became very difficult to tell if the O-ring was really holding the pressure and I didn't notice any extra bounce in the balls. A year later, we had to throw these out because all 4 became impossible to screw/unscrew. We nearly need to get out a hammer and smash these to get our balls out. We tried putting vaseline on the O-ring, but to no avail.

Awesome product, saves you big $$$Nov 07, 2009

This product is well worth the price. I bought 2 of them and always keep my 6 tennis balls in these between games. You will get at least an extra month of use out of the tennis balls which pays for itself very quickly. If you play very infrequently then this is even more vital to keep the balls fresh for months and months. I play about 3 times a week and normally without this I am replacing balls every 2 weeks as they go flat.

Agree with other reviewer - O ring does not make full contact, but there's a fixMay 01, 2011
By JA008 The deficient built quality results in the o-ring not sealing tightly enough all around, so the air leaks. One can hear the air gushing out at intervals while screwing the cylinders.
I fixed the problem by removing the o-ring, placing a strip of paper around the groove, and then putting back the o-ring on top of the paper strip. This added the necessary extra thickness to fully seal the container.
The product is a great idea, but unfortunately the necessary manufacturing tolerances required might not always be met. So if you buy this product, you might find yourself tinkering with it.
Note: the manufacturer might want to consider including a set of o-rings with different thicknesses.

Gamma Revive Ball PressurizersApr 03, 2011
By John C Frost I bought two Gamma Revive Ball Pressurizers. I am very disappointed. Both leak. As I close them I can hear them leak and as I open them there is a vacuum and I can hear them pass air before they are all the way open. FYI, I did this several times in a row to verify they were both bad. I am very disappointed. I do not recommend this product.Gamma Revive Ball Pressurizers

o ring doesn't seal properlyMar 08, 2011

These are such a sham. When I screw in the top, you can literally hear the O-ring leak air at certain places where it loses contact with the sides. I tried lubricating it with glycerin, but it doesn't help. Now I have to decide whether I should go through the hassle of returning it or not. They should manufacture these things with a little more precision, or maybe double O-rings.
