O3 Sweet Zone - Ektelon replaced traditional pin-sized string holes with revolutionary giant O-ports, providing total string freedom for a livelier response across the entire string bed. This increases the sweet spot, creating a Sweet Zone, which means ultimate power on every shot!

Fast RacquetMar 13, 2009

This is a very good and fine price racquetball racquet. Sturdy structure and very wide sweet point, the weight is nothing. Highly recomendable for beginners and amapro players.

good racquetFeb 28, 2010

its not quite as light as the head racquet, however the out of the box stringing does make it hit very well. i only play once or twice a week but dont notice any wrist or elbow pain from vibration.
for the price, i am very happy with my purchase.

Not keen on the grip but love the weight and feel.Jul 17, 2011
By P. Kane Pros
Love the weight and feel of the racquet. Actually had a tough time the first two games with this racquet as it's extremely fast.
- The top of the racquet has four holes to reduce resistance during your swing. It moves quick.
- My racquet had arrived with the little rubber piece that spans the sweet spot near the grip, all mangled. It was almost like this racquet had been restrung and the person weaved the rubber piece over and under the strings. This has been a noticeable difference from my replaced Ektelon racquet. The sweet spot doesn't seem to quite be there.
- The racquet's string design creates a high level of bounce when it connects with the ball. Even a gentle tap and the ball just zings.
Cons - Previous reviewer had noted the poor quality of the wrist strap. Totally concur, mine fell apart upon opening the grip section of the racquet.
- The grip leaves a lot to be desired. Guess I miss the nice clear grip from my Ektelon More racquet.
- You have to buy the glove that matches the racquet. The grip has the same consitency of the regular Ektelon glove so using the incorrect glove just slides around during play.
- Purchased the glove specific to the racquet and strongly dislike it. It slides all over.
Considered returning but thinking of cutting off the grip and replacing with the clear grip that works so well with the regular glove.

low end racquetMar 19, 2011
By ;lkoiuys I purchased this racquet based on the good reviews it had. Not sure what they where thinking, it is not a good choice in my opinion. No power, slippery cheap grip, poor control of the location of your shot. I ended up going back to my ten year old cheap racquet with the tacky new grip. I had hoped this was a higher end raquet from years past but should have known better since the supplier was Target.
